My name is Mia Cacioppo-Cohen, I’m North London based artist who uses a range of mediums to create surreal scenes, sculptures and instillations. I have had multiple successes with galleries, ranging from The Tate Britain, The Tate Modern and The Royal Academy of Arts. My artwork has been shown across London on projections and billboards in partnership with The Tate Modern and Tate Britain. ‘A Solid Dinner’ was included in this years Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2024, this is my proudest achievement so far!

I have recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a First Class Degree in Fine Art, BA. My practice focuses on encapsulating the marks of memories left on dining wear from personal events through the mediums of ceramics, air dry clay and embroidery. I hope to capture the intimate settings of family meals by solidifying the oil stains and left over food, representing the feelings of the past in ceramics forever. I also enjoy playing with scale and perspective as my artworks can range from a baguette smaller than your fingernail, to a life-sized dinner table.
